Hair products for damaged hair

Hi beauties..... I wanted to share with you all a hair tragedy I had recently. I'm pretty sure many of us have had a hair crisis wether our hairstylist cut way too much off or didn't cut it straight or gave you Aubrey Hepburn bangs and of course my dilemma, got the wrong color dyed on your hair. So I decided to do something about my issue and that is to try every product I'm hearing good stuff about and show you ladies the process. I didn't want to re dye my hair Bc it was too damaged.
This is my story, At the end of November I allowed my friend who works at a salon to dye my hair to a dark purple/indigo color, aiming a little lighter than black. I showed her numerous  pictures of what I wanted and she swore she could do it just how I wanted. She sounded so confident that she put me at ease since I was terrified of damaging my hair. When I arrived to my appt. she mentioned she would have to lift and bleach certain areas Bc my hair was black but to not worry Bc everything would blend in perfectly. Again I trusted her every word. So we went along with what she suggested. By the end of the procedure I couldn't have been more horrified!!! I had bright purple/red highlights! She noticed I freaked out and said it looked beautiful and I told her this isn't at all like in the
picture nor is this close to black. That's when she said no one ever comes out looking like the pictures they bring in people have different hair. I told her I couldn't have it this bright so we went ahead and dyed it darker. Once she was finished it looked better but you could still see the purple highlights against my black hair. I was so disappointed and even more horrified when I noticed my hair had broken off in a lot of places. Since then I've been relying on my agave oil and Moroccan oil, honestly it's kept my hair  hydrated  and I think it's helped prevent any more damage. I also have been washing my hair with warm water, never hot. Now I've decided to try these two products below and I will be taking a picture after a month to show you guys the process. A before and after.  So that you guys and see for yourselves and  decide for yourselves if you think the products will work for your hair.

Products:
Moroccanoil intense hydrating mask
It's a 10 miracle deep conditioner
It's  a 10  miracle leave-in plus keratin
The stuff us women have to go through :-/  always so much money. Lol

Beauty so clean

Hi dolls!

I went to the NYC makeup pop up show  and although they didn't have much I still bought $150 worth of stuff :-/ lol  one thing that I was hoping to see there was beauty so clean. If you are a makeup artist this is a must. Especially for freelancing kits Bc it sanitizes all powders instantly. I spray right after I'm done with any client. Usually in front of them just so that they can notice how serious I am about being cleAn with my products. It's amazing stuff I don't see any oil build up on any of my products including eye shadows, blushes, skin finishes and pressed powders. I wanted to get the one that sanitizes lip sticks but that was sold out. -_-  anyways I bought their biggest size bottle for $20 that will last me about a year is say. The medium size is $15 I believe do I opted for the bigger size. It's def. worth it. They have plenty of stuff to maintain your makeup sanitized I'll be putting their website link below. Leave any questions or comments :)

Friday

I'm back !!! Due to drastic changes in my life I wasn't able to blog in a while. And with school around the corner I might not be blogging as much as id want too. But  i am currently employed by M.A.C!! I freelance for them so if any of you ladies have any questions please feel free to ask. :)
I did a bit of shopping when their collection came out ( punk couture and magnetic nude)
I was gifted the naked 3 palette from urban decay for Xmas. So that completes the trio. These are a must for weddings. It's easy to carry around and def. great colors for brides. They are def. worth the price in my opinion. I hope everyone had a blessed Xmas and a prosperous new year.

Hello ladies! As you all must already know Viva Glam Nicki 2 came out at the beginning of Feb. and of course being that is for a good cause and all i had to buy it! Im not going to lie i was a little scared of the color because i wasn't sure if i could pull it off. Def. not for everyone. lol .....In the pics i have the two different ways you can wear it, with a lip liner and with out it! I was going to work so i was brave enough to wear it out alone. lol Its actually brighter thank it looks in the pics.

Has anyone tried it out yet? Brave enough to wear it alone?
Enjoy the weekend ladies!

Up the Amp l/s

Hello ladies and welcome to my new followers! =)
Recently i've been reaching out for my Up the Amp lip stick from M.A.C!  i felt it needed to have its own post on my blog! The color is amazing and In my opinion so versatile, i think it can be worn all year round honestly! I swatched it with and without flash so you can notice the difference. I actually have it on with Snob lip gloss over it.... because I'm obsessed with that lip gloss at the moment and i apply it over every lip stick! lol But as you can see from the swatches its a beautiful bold color on its own. Just like Rebel i love that you can apply more to darken the shade but you get an opaque color with just applying it once.

How do you ladies feel about this color? Would you wear it?
Leave any questions or comments below! =)

Pink Pigeon l/s

Hi ladies! I recently made a purchase at m.a.c and bought Rebel l/s, please me lip gloss since I'm obsessed with the l/s and pink pigeon!!!I've been wanting to buy candy yum yum to see whats the fuss about but of course it was sold out! so i opted to pink pigeon which wasn't disappointing at all! i love it along with the rest of the products i bought! =)   I came to realize that candy yum yum and pink pigeon are pretty similar in color as well, so i might just pass on that one for now...... pink pigeon is more magenta and has a matte finish! i haven't tried it with any gloss over since i like a matte finish especially for such vibrant colors....This color is amazing i think anyone can pull it off! =)

Was anyone able to grab this lippy? What are your thoughts on it?
Questions and comments are welcomed!

Stila Red Lips

Hey guys!!! I hope everyone has entered the new year with positive energy and healthy! :)
I wanted to share a look I did that I never had the chance to post. Excuse the hair I usually apply makeup prior to anything lol it could get messy! So yeah I know many of you got to see the stila stay all day liquid in Aria and now I'm showing you how fiery looks! I must say if you don't like dry matte finish this isn't the product for you. This reminds me a lot of the lime crime velvetines... But stila costs a bit more and is available at sephora.

Products used:
Stila all day waterproof liquid eyeliner in black
MUFE aqua liners in #1
Benefit Are they real mascara
I was trying out the ysl foundation but i don't like how it comes off a bit to pink, if that makes any sense.

Comment or questions are welcomed....
Stay beautiful!

Stila Lipstick

Hello ladies!

I have something to share with you all! I've never really had a favorite lippy before! yes, plenty of ones i like A Lot but not a Favorite. Now, i wasn't looking for a new lippy when i came across this Stila stay all day liquid lipstick, but i decided to try it. Especially because Sephora has always had a beyond generous return policy. I had a feeling i wasn't going to return it given that i quickly got on my iPhone to check out swatches! lol..... i'm sure i'm not alone on this one right ladies? But I had to try Aria! First of i've always loved that name...so as soon as i got home i tried it on and i fell in love with the color! Its sort of a berry/plum color. Its an amazing rich color that stay put till forever! well....till you decide to take it off at night before bed. I mean i bet i can fall asleep and wake up with the lipstick still in place, but haven't done so. I def. recommend this color and Fiery! They are most def. fall/winter colors ladies!
The best part is there is no taste nor smell to them once placed on your lips. It dries immideiately to a matte finish. I've always appreciated a matte finish when it comes down to darker colors. If you guys rather some shine i'm not sure this product is for you unless you add clear lip gloss which i haven't done  so i can't say much about that.
So ladies this is one of the first favorites i've had, if you have tried it let me know, I would like to know your take on it!
Anyone have any favorite lippy they'd like to share with me, comment below!

Fav. Concealer

Hi guys! I know I haven't blogged in forever but I just graduated with my associates so I was pretty busy. But on to makeup...I wanted to share with you guys my all time favorite concealer. Of course it's from m.a.c haha I want to start of by saying that I love their pro longwear foundation, so I had to try their concealer. I'm very big on waterproof makeup!!! So these products are staples for me. This concealer is amazing it won't come off until you wash your makeup off. Another great thing is that it doesn't crease!thats a + + for me lol... I hate when it looks thick and noticeable creases. I am a NC35 in their foundation and use NC30 in concealer. I like for it to be a bit lighter. But yes I added a little collage where I'm using this concealer. I hope you all have a great week!
Any comments or questions are
more than welcomed :)

OCC

Obsessive compulsive cosmetics is amazing!!! If you haven't tried a product of theirs yet..... You def. should!!! I have tried almost everything but I have to say the one thing I fell in love with is their pure pigments! In the picture below It shows the way I wore it with black eye shadow on the outer V. I went out to the mall and a baby shower, and everyone kept asking me what eye shadow was I wearing and if it was from m.a.c. Because it looked really nice. This color might be too bright for some but I think it's easy to work with as long as everything else on your face is toned down. The occ pic. Is from their website and the colors on her are from the new summer collection. I'll def. be purchasing more pigments. Just thought i'd share one of my favs. with you guys  =)  Hope you ladies are enjoying spring. Stay beautiful.

Birthday weekend

My birthday was on friday and I have been sick this whole week. How wonderful, but i still tried to make the best of it as you can see on the pictures. I had fun getting together with most of my friends to celebrate! =) I had stayed at a hotel and i just had to take a pic. of the bathroom because it was HUGE! I swear you could fit like a california king bed in there. lol. One day we went to a lounge and the next day we went to a restaurant and a rooftop! I didnt even really get to eat from how sick i felt! -_- But i made the best of it.

Saturday

MUFE and Nars

I have to start of by saying that there isn't much hype on any blog I follow about MUFE l/s. I love the pretty much nude ones I'd say. I've become a bit crazy over lippies as you guys can tell haha. But I love how pigmented and long lasting they are which must be bc they are matte. Some might find it drying but I always wear my l/s with a lip gloss over. Although this doesn't have a somewhat vanilla scent like M•A•C. Lippies it does have a nice smell to it in my opinion. As for the Nars lippies I'm not to fond of their smell but I love how moisturizing the l/s are. What's sucks about Nars is that it brings little bit of product for its price. You can run out of those lippies quick!

Retail price for MUFE l/s is $19 I believe and Nars are $24. I hope you ladies find this information useful. I will put pics of swatches below.

Any of you have twitter feel free to FOLLOW me!!
Stay pretty.

YSL lipsticks

My obsession with ysl lipsticks has grown after I bought my first one. I now currently have 5 of them. But I always buy them when there's some type of discount. I bought one at its retail price and its crazy to know I spent that much due to my obsession with lipsticks. They are very creamy and opaque. Although they don't last as long as a M•A•C lippie would, it does keep your lips moist for an hour. Oh and I love how it smells!!!ladies always smell ur lipsticks if you have a weak stomach. I bought one from I think smash box and it made me gag since I only tried it on my hand before purchasing. So here's a picture on the lipsticks and swatches. By the way #24 is a rouge put couture not a rouge volupte. Leave Any questions or comments.
Enjoy the week ladies

Cetaphil

I'm not sure if many of you have heard of cetaphil, but its such an amazing face cleanser i just had to blog about it. Its a #1 dermatologist recommended brand. I've been using this cleansing bar for about 3 weeks now and i have to say it has worked wonders. I've have never had a break out up until a couple of months ago! My face is really sensitive and till this day i have no clue as to what caused the horrible breakout. All i know is that after trying products from neutrogena, clinique, and other brands nothing seemed to work. If anything i felt things get worse. I only use cetaphil face moisturizer so i dont get why i didnt think to try their cleanser, but i finally did and its been the Only thing that has helped clear my face up. Now, i'm not saying it worked overnight, but it has gradually help reduce acne. If you happen to have scaring, i'm not sure it helps on that, it just reduces outbreaks in my opinion. Also its very inexpensive....the pic above is of a 3 pack and i believe i paid around $10.00 ... So ladies i hope this was helpful in some kind of way!

Bubble tea

Today i was out with my friend shopping and I just Had to try it.... I'm so late on it! Haha but needless to say it was good! Have to try other flavors :)

Friday

Hot tools

This is not a must a def. good stuff if u have bangs or really short hair. I got it for free at ulta with a hot tools curling iron purchase I made. Retail price for this lil cute on the go flat iron is $19.99. I personally think its too pricey but then again it gets the job done. I've always been a fan of hot tools since high school, never had a problem with them. They last a long time as well.
Anyone had a good or bad experience they want to share???

Have a good weekend ladies :)
